Hypocrisy in Politics



Standards have always been higher in the media regarding behavior from Democrats and Republicans.   Get caught tapping your shoe in a bathroom stall and you are out of office as a Republican.  If you are a Democrat you can be busted with a hooker in a hotel room while using cocaine and be re-elected.  

If you are a Republican, say for example President Nixon and get caught lying you are again out of office.  Democrat?  Say..... for example President Clinton? No problem about lying under oath and on nation wide TV to the American people.  You know.... because of all the good things he did and having sex with a subordinate......  in the Oval Office....... on company time...  really isn't any of our business.

Anyway, enjoy the cartoon.  I'm sure you can come up with many more examples of the double standard.
