Gaza Hospital Scene Staged For Propaganda - Update
First. The story was released by a company called World News & Features from whom CNN had made arrangements. According to the advertising on their web site WN only provides the material to non-competing clients. Under its unique system, each PREMIER CLIENT can brand the material as "From Our Own Correspondent" or "From ABC - Special to ..." or some other agreed wording. Looking further into the WN&F web site in the lower right hand corner the logo for the web master: Nepras Design logo can be noted.
A Whois search of contact information for Nepras Design reveals the primary contact and general manager for Nepras.net is none other than the “freelance photographer” who filmed that staged hospital scene, Ashraf Mashharawi.
Further investigation shows the official website of the Hamas television station (Aqsa TV) was registered by Mashharawi’s company: www.nepras.com
So. The brother who films this entire video is the general manager of the company providing the web site for Hamas TV as well as WN&F. The same news organization who marketed the story. And there is nothing suspicious about any of this according to CNN.
Well, lets go a little further. Remember the doctor who was working on the boy? Mads Gilbert is part of a group in his home town Tromsoe in Norway, who long have planned to make a film together with Ashraf Mashharawi. This group, which promotes friendship between Tromsoe and Gaza, also met Ahmed Mashharawi, a film maker with whom Ashraf Mashharawi has worked together, at a film festival.
This means Gilbert and Mahharawi probably knew each other before this incident. The two websites, link one and link 2 are written in Norweigen, but the names remain the same. For example:
...Filmprosjekt med Ashraf Mashharawi. Knut forbereder søknad i tråd med søknaden
som ble laget for 2008...
...blir det først og fremst Mads Gilbert som kan fortelle derfra...

There is a 15 minute documentary on the Danish site counteract.tv, titled “From the Camp.“
Want some more coincidences? The crew that filmed this documentary were some familiar ones: Cameraman & Director: Ahmed Mashharawi, script: Raid Dawoud, Editing: Ashraf Mashharawi, Narrator: Paul Martin, Translation: Ismail Rabah
It can be noted the narrator, Paul Martin, is also the narrator on the CNN hit piece. Small world.
