President-Elect Obamas' First Press Conference

President-elect Obama gave his first press conference today stating:

In terms of speaking to former presidents, I have spoken to all of them, uh, that are, uh, living ... obviously, uh, President Clinton, uh ... [laughter] ... hey, I didn’t want to get into a Nancy Reagan, uh, thing about doin’ any seances...  (video at end)

Way to stay classy.  Insult a deceased Presidents widow who is abed due to a broken hip.  And President Clinton was the only living President whose name he could remember (sigh)?

And what is up with this "Office of the President-Elect".  Is that even real?  According to wikipedia it is.  Now.  The page just being created on 7 Nov 2008.   By clicking on the external reference link at the bottom, you will find yourself at the Office of the President-Elect, Barack Obama.

I guess a little healthy ego is good for a person.

Typical of the questions being asked, "What kind of dog are you thinking of getting".  Hardball questions from the media.  Speaking of the media, the following got to pose questions:

Nedra Pickler (AP), Lee Cowan (NBC), Jake Tapper (ABC), Chip Reid (CBS), Karen Bohan (Reuters), John McCormick (Chicago Tribune), Lynn Sweet (Chicago Sun-Times), Candy Crowley (CNN), Jeff Zeleny (New York Times).
The following didn't:

Fox News

So much for the first press conference.
