MAKE CYBER-SECURITY A FEDERAL PRIORITY
"As President, I'll make cyber-security the top priority that it should be in the 21st century. I'll declare our cyber-infrastructure a strategic asset and appoint a National Cyber Adviser who will report directly to me."
Senator Barack Obama in a speech 7/16/2008 West Lafayette, Ind
Ironic statement given a recent event conducted by his supporters. At Gawker a leftist blog site, they have screen shots and personal E-mails hacked from Gov Palins personal Yahoo E-mail account; gov.palin@yahoo.com. On the blog site are screen shots of her personal family photos, her personal contact lists (E-mail addresses), and copies of her personal E-mails. They are attempting to connect her work related E-mails with her personal E-mail, which would be a violation of law. Gawker has obviously failed to do this or they would have printed the offending E-mails, so they settled for printing what they had.
A more disturbing aspect to this incident are the comments section. Within the comments section are found some of the most elitist, bigoted remarks concerning Alaskans and Alaska found in print. Virtually all posters were in favor of this illegal operation; there were absolutely no dissenters or commenter stating it was morally wrong, much less illegal.
I will refrain, out of respect for Gov Palin from posting the screen shots. I will not publish any of the comments as the accusation of "cherry picking" arises. Click the link above and be the judge yourself.
The normal disassociation will of course occur. The Democrats will deplore this incident, the media will in all likelihood ignore it, and Sen Obama, along with his staff will deny any connection. Of course, there is no connection. Senator Obama has however, through his associations with these various blog sites (Daily Kos, Huffington, et al) given his tacit approval for these kind of stunts and low level smear campaigns to flourish.

I can't believe you found that quote. Priceless. What got me was them pointing fingers regarding the letter of the law... It's like they live in an alternate reality.

I like your style, the fact that your site is a little bit different makes it so interesting, I get fed up of seeing same-old-same-old all of the time. I've just stumbled this page for you :-D

Hello! This is sort of off topic but I require some instruction from an established website. Is it quitecomplicated to set up your own personal internet site? I am not especially techincal however I can figure things out quite fast. I was contemplating establishing my very own web publication however I'm unclear about where to begin. Do you have some tips? Many thanks
